Like all products, word of mouth is the best advertising that can be had. Many of our customers have positive words to say about both our product and our service levels and we take great satisfaction in receiving this feedback. I am a recent customer of your Rotor crank system. I thought I would take this opportunity to express my congratulations for such a magnificent piece of engineering. It is stunning. I'm not sure how I happened to stumble across it for the first time but I believe it was on the internet and saw the Flash demonstration of the Rotor in motion. I used to be a competitive swimmer in High School and College and my first impression was of a swimmer's stroke. I thought to myself that someone had finally figured it out. When I got into competitive cycling and coming from a swimming background, I knew that a fixed crank was inefficient, forcing the rider to spend the same time IN the power stroke as the rider spent on recovery. All I can say is, "It's about time." You deserve much praise. Matthew Moon, 24/01/2003. Just wanted to let you know I have been using the Rotor for two months now and have had some good results. I was initially concerned based on some of the reports I read about
the Rotor that they would not be good in criterions or sprinting. My concerns
are gone. They are awesome in all situations. Winning the Green Jersey
at the Pomona Valley Stage Race proves that I can sprint like a mad man
with them. As the Masters National Champion I drew a lot of attention
to myself and the cranks. Hope it helps. For me, the rotor crank even though it costed more is a way better upgrade than my tailbox or aero wheelsets. Guess what.... I still have my wheels and my tailbox. Now I can drag that box up the hill so much easier. I've gotten over 1.5 minutes faster on a 13.9 mile time trial course I do. I can after only a week feel my legs gaining more strength compared to training on my regular carbon cranks I had. I now plan on buying another rotor crank for my new race bike. Going to sell my profile elite carbon crank. The carbon crank is a half pound lighter than the rotor crank......but guess what? It doesn't make any difference. A half lb extra but I'm wayfaster......easier to climb........can hammer for longer periods of time........ yeah I'm giving up standard cranks period end of story. Carbon profile crank going on ebay today. Zach Kaplan, USA, February 11, 2004 I must say that I absolutely love these new cranks. This to the point
that I don't really want to ride anything else. This is why I would like
to order another similar pair to the one I bought. If you can, this would
be once again for a pair of Rotors cranks in size 175 and titanium. I
definitely feel the difference. It especially felt so strange when I rode
again my other bike with normal cranks. I just wanted to dismount immediately
and throw it away (just kidd'ing). It felt really strange. I really like
those cranks. My upcoming Ironman race in Austria will tell if it really
makes a difference! Bruno Lebeda, 20/06/2003, Australia When I first got the Rotor cranks the quality and beauty struck me. Very high quality, fit and finish. Titanium has that magic shine to it Installation probed to be simple as the manual is very detailed. Usually the power-curve during sprinting starts flattening out over 38-39 mph, I really have to work on getting faster. With the rotor cranks I had power to spare at 39mph, which is most pleasant. How much improvement it actually is, no idea, a lab test with controlled parameters would be necessary to show that. But my initial skepticism towards the "pricey biopace like gizmo" turned into actually liking the Rotor. Frank Marius Geyer 2002 World Champion Male Stock Recumbent Class Team Challenge - Bentrider Online (2002), Team Coslinger 14/04/2003 I was out riding my rotor-equipped Intense suspension mountain bike Wednesday night, and wanted to send you a quick note of further accolade: the rotor excels in extremely steep and technical situations, especially rock garden climbs! Thanks to the improved "always-on" power advantages, it is notably easier to push through rough sections, even after stalling on rocks. Normally, a stall on a climb means you have to get off and walk, but with the rotor, it's possible to extend the time you can stall and then still regain forward momentum. The trails we rode Wednesday night were extremely steep and rocky, more so than other trails I've ridden with the rotor, and so this talent became particularly visible. Yet again, very impressive.
